Last October Renee, Mark, Pete, and I,
participated in the
Ham Radio Cruise 2008
visiting Nassau and Freeport in the Bahamas.
I was very
surprised with the major pile-ups we created,
clearly demonstrating the pent-up demand for contacts with
C6A. The cruise left us wanting more and was the genesis for the 2009 DXpedition.
This
site will help chronicle the trip.
Please enjoy the site and feel free to drop me an email with your
comments.

About an hour after sunrise on 10June2009. Note the wire for
the east leg of the G5RV on the left side of the image.

View from my operating station (G5RV and Buddipole to left -- 160M L

Here is a view of the Yellow House. The operating station is
on the second floor balcony. The G5RV is on the pole to right
and 160M inverted-L on the left pole. Buddipole and Traveler
antennas are in the middle.
